B. Outside Vendors

 In order to maintain the highest standard of event quality for our clients, guests, and vendors, Upper Larimer does not typically allow outside vendors. Exceptions may be made for ethnic cuisine or longstanding relationships with non-profit organizations, subject to approval on a case-by-case basis. Please note that orientation, screening, and venue-specific training fees apply.

We offer exclusive access to high-quality caterers currently undergoing our approval process. This ensures that we can accommodate any menu preferences and budgetary considerations for your event, available exclusively to Upper Larimer clients.

At Upper Larimer, we have collaborated with over 200 vendors in the Denver Market, accumulating valuable experience that has enabled us to meticulously score and grade each vendor who has worked within our venue. Our comprehensive scoring process evaluates vendors based on three key factors: Quality of Product, Quality of Service, and Business Ethics. Here's a breakdown:

SERVICE: We assess the quality of vendors' services, including their hospitality knowledge, professionalism, business ethics, staff training, appearance, attitude, staffing adequacy, and license and insurance status.

PRODUCT: We evaluate the quality of vendors' food and beverage products, as well as the cleanliness and condition of their commercial kitchens and rental equipment.

PRICING: We compare vendors' pricing structures to market standards to determine if they offer value to our clients.

EXPERIENCE: Our Preferred Vendors must demonstrate experience, particularly in working within our venue.

STANDARDS: We examine vendors' adherence to standards in training procedures, dress code, hospitality, food quality, and preparation, handling, presentation, and delivery.

VALUE: We ensure that vendors offer fair pricing aligned with industry standards, prioritizing quality and value for our clients.

We caution against inexperienced or overly experienced vendors who may employ deceptive practices, such as concealing pricing or excessive add-on charges.
